Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be working in a Specialist School in Oxford, supporting students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, and down syndrome.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for SEN and a warm nature, with the ability to take on extra responsibilities, including covering lessons and collaborating with the SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students. The school has excellent sensory provisions for the pupils and a big push on building independent living skills.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for teacher training. If you're passionate about making a difference and supporting children with additional needs to reach their full potential, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, and down syndrome
  • Take on extra responsibilities, including covering lessons and collaborating with the SENCO
