Job Title: Energy Sector Project Manager

Nicholas Associates is looking for an experienced Energy Sector Project Manager to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our construction engineering team, you will be responsible for monitoring, coaching, and assessing learners in project control disciplines.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced professionals in the Energy sector, providing training and support to apprentices and adults. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and coaching learners to ensure they meet performance standards
  • Supporting both internal and external training delivery
  • Carrying out assessments and coaching of apprentices and adults
  • Aligning taught courses with site operations and curriculum goals
  • Driving completion of tasks and achieving deadlines
  • Developing and training apprentices in various sectors, including Nuclear, Petro-Chem, Pharma, and Thermal

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in project control, project management, or project engineer disciplines within the Energy sector
  • Training experience beneficial but not essential
  • Project control/project management qualification or equivalent
  • Good IT skills
  • Understanding of problem-solving and risk management techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of project control disciplines in planning, costing, and estimating

Compensation and Benefits:
