About the Role:
A prestigious secondary school in Lewisham seeks a full-time Lead Science Technician to oversee the practical and technical aspects of the science curriculum. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Science Technicians to ensure safe, secure, and engaging laboratory activities for staff and students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a system of stock control for chemicals and consumables, preparing and managing resources for practical activities, and supervising and training Science Technicians to meet performance standards.

The salary for this role is up to £39,334 per annum, reflecting the responsibility and expertise required to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a system of stock control for chemicals and consumables
• Prepare and manage resources for practical activities
• Supervise and train Science Technicians to meet performance standards

Requirements:
• A-Levels or equivalent in Science subjects
• Good knowledge of COSHH and CLEAPS guidelines
• Experience working in a Science team in a secondary school setting
• Degree in Science (desired)
