Key Responsibilities:

As an EAL Educator, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive EAL lesson plan that addresses the needs of students at different proficiency levels and ages.

You will provide support to the Head of EAL and assistants, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.

Collaboration with mainstream subject teachers is essential to promote language integration and support EAL students in accessing the curriculum.

You will assess student language proficiency and progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and school leadership.

Additionally, you will coordinate with admissions to assess the language needs of prospective students and facilitate their smooth transition into the school.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience delivering either UK National Curriculum or Cambridge Primary and/or Moroccan Curriculum.
  • Confidence in the use of ICT in teaching
  • High expectations and aspirations for all students
  • A commitment to the overall development of young people
  • An open-minded approach to their work, are willing to learn and develop
