Job Title: Engineer Surveyor – Pressure & Steam Systems

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Surveyor to join our team in Dumfries and Galloway. As a key member of our pressure and steam systems team, you will be responsible for inspecting and certifying pressure equipment, including boilers, steam plant, compressors, and heat exchangers.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in high-pressure systems or an Engineer Surveyor looking to take their career to the next level. You will work with a world-leading professional services company that supports businesses with quality and compliance, ensuring pressure equipment meets current regulatory and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and certify pressure air and steam systems, including boilers, steam plant, compressors, and heat exchangers
  • Work autonomously, maintaining client relationships and operating within agreed authorities, inspection, and H&S standards
  • Provide full technical specialist support and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • HNC or Level 4 qualification equivalent in any engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience of fixing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, or servicing relevant pressure equipment
  • UK driving license and customer-facing skills
