The Belfry Hotel & Resort is a renowned hospitality destination, boasting 300+ luxurious bedrooms and suites, multiple dining and entertainment options, and world-class golf courses. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences for our guests, and we're seeking a skilled Technical AV Project Manager to join our vibrant team.

This role will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of events at the hotel, including managing technicians, ensuring staff are adequately briefed, and supporting clients in technical areas. You will work closely with our events team to deliver seamless events, from pre-production to post-production.

About the role

This is a 40-hour per week, office-based position with flexibility required. You will be responsible for:

  • Regular client meetings and site visits
  • Interpreting and developing event briefs with clients
  • Producing quotes and agreeing budgets
  • Managing project timelines and schedules
  • Ensuring project documentation is up-to-date, including risk assessments and method statements
  • Managing suppliers and other third parties
  • Overseeing event delivery, working with other departments to ensure post-production activities are completed

About you

We're looking for a skilled project manager with experience in corporate AV, passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients. You will require:

  • Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Can-do attitude, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
  • Full, valid UK driving license with no more than 3 points, and eligibility to drive long-wheelbase vans
  • Flexibility and excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of rigging
