Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Admiral Careers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our credit risk team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of credit risk models and strategies to support our motor lending business.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop effective credit risk models and decisioning rulesets to support our motor lending business.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit risk strategies.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring our credit risk strategies remain compliant and effective.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, with experience building and evaluating scorecards.
- Demonstrated ability to build comprehensive reports to segment and analyze portfolio performance.
- Experience of extracting, manipulating, and reviewing data using SQL.
- Experience of using Python (Pandas, Sci-Kit Learn, NumPy) or other relevant programming language/software for data analysis and modelling.
- Prior experience of consumer credit risk, with a strong understanding of motor lending.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
