About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit within Stonehouse Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine personal care and assist with examination duties for patients, under the supervision of a registered nurse or clinician.
  • Maintain a person-centred approach to care delivery, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized ward environment.
  • Undertake on-the-job training and induction as required.
  • Meet the mandatory HCSW standards.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize basic information technology skills to support daily tasks.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous experience in a health, education, or social environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic information technology skills.
