About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in Tesco Extra, Chesterfield. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment, and contributing to the success of our toy retail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and handling deliveries to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers
  • Replenishing stock, maintaining pricing, and implementing promotions to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and offering product recommendations to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the toy aisles and surrounding areas
  • Collaborating with colleagues and management to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift and move stock, as well as stand for long periods
