Aseptic Pharmacy Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a leading NHS Hospital in West London. As an Aseptic Pharmacy Technician, you will provide specialist technical support to Senior Pharmacist Technical Services and the Chief Technician of Technical Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Senior Pharmacist Technical Services and the Chief Technician of Technical Services.
  • Assist in the initial and ongoing training within the aseptic department for new and existing staff members.
  • Train and develop the skills of staff within the department.
  • Manage and supervise the provision of pharmacy aseptic services.
  • Work as part of a large manufacturing team.
  • Assist in monitoring that all staff adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Act as a role model for junior members of the team.
  • Abide by GPHC standards of conduct, ethics, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • NHS Hospital experience.
  • Previous experience working as an Aseptic Pharmacy Technician.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and work well with the team.

Working Hours and Contract Duration:

This position will require you to work from Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:15pm, with a 45-minute break. The contract is for 6 months minimum.
