Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. This will involve designing and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver a comprehensive and engaging Psychology curriculum to students.
  2. Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
  3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the learning experience and stay up-to-date with current pedagogical approaches.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level, particularly at Key Stages 4 and 5.
