About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team at HMP Oakwood. As a key member of our Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Service, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based interventions for individuals with mental health needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing high-quality care and support to our service users.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop care plans for individuals with mental health needs
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Communicate effectively with other professionals and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in nursing, social work, or a related field
  • Experience of working with individuals with mental health needs
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapies and interventions
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
