About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our Line 2 Enterprise Risk function at Diligenta. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive, effective, best practice Risk Management processes to enable Diligenta to meet its corporate governance, regulatory, and clients' requirements.

In this role, you will advise and assist Risk Owners across the organization on all aspects of the Diligenta Risk Management Framework, covering both operational and strategic risks. You will also support the delivery of Operational Risk Management for clients in line with contracts and help implement strategic changes to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the BAU framework.

This will be a client-facing role with responsibility for leading the Line 2 Risk oversight, challenge, and guidance for a large migration programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with key senior stakeholders, including client representatives, to facilitate the production of Line 2 Risk assessments and opinion papers relating to migration/transformation deliveries.
  • Support the wider Enterprise Risk team in the implementation, maintenance, and delivery of the Diligenta Risk Management Framework, to ensure that the accountability for risk management is clear, that there are processes and mechanisms in place for the effective identification, assessment, management, reporting, and escalation of issues relating to all risks within the business and within the processes administered on behalf of clients.
  • Consult with clients and key internal stakeholders across the business to discuss any matters relating to the risk management processes, issue resolution, or reporting.
  • Play a key role in delivering contractual obligations and SLAs in respect of risk management to clients.
  • Provide education, guidance, and support to business management in the identification and assessment of risks and controls and the use of the risk frameworks and tools that they are required to use.
  • Conduct, as required, analysis and investigation projects to facilitate the understanding and assessment of risk within Diligenta and the processes it administers on behalf of its clients.
Requirements
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of dealing with Executive Management, clients, third-party suppliers, etc.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and presentational skills to the highest levels.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Conversant with best practice Enterprise Risk Management processes and frameworks.
  • Strong technical knowledge of risk management software tools and their use.
  • Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
  • Experience in one or more of the Line 2 risk disciplines (Risk Management, Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime, DPO).
  • 5+ years' relevant experience in risk management and familiar with the tools used in risk management, with at least 5 years' experience working in Financial Services.
  • Experience working within a Fund Management organization in a risk discipline.
  • Understanding of risk drivers in the industry (BPO and L&P).
