As brand custodians, we are privileged to work for an ethical business where people from diverse backgrounds can bring their true selves to work and grow their careers.

We are guided by three core values that are at the heart of everything we do: being ourselves, acting courageously, and showing we care.

Job Description

The Global Financial Accounting Professional will be responsible for managing the input, analysis, and maintenance of various sub-ledgers, assisting with the general ledger for all legal entities across the group, including those in the EMEA, Americas, and APAC Regions, as well as Holding Companies.

This role involves overseeing global ownership and accurate accounting of all intangible and tangible assets across the group, ensuring alignment with the Group Accounting Manual and applicable standards.

You will collaborate with Camden Finance and IT teams to review intangible projects, ensuring proper cost capture through each project phase and conducting post-go-live reviews.

  • Leading the global annual asset verification project to maintain accurate and complete asset registers, engaging stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensuring proper capitalisation of items posted to the general ledger and assist with monthly intercompany reconciliations.
  • Maintaining group ledgers in compliance with group and local statutory requirements, and assist in implementing, maintaining, and refining robust month-end processes and controls.
  • Coordinating with regional peers to ensure ledger accuracy and timely completion of period-end deadlines for all entities.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, addressing, and resolving any issues in line with internal deadlines.
  • Supporting interim and year-end audits by preparing necessary documentation for external auditors.

This role requires identifying and communicating any risks or opportunities to the Global Financial Accounting Manager and providing support and improvement insights to the finance team for operational efficiencies.

A competitive salary of approximately £60,000-£80,000 per annum is available, depending on experience, along with benefits such as hybrid working, welcome to the family free pair of Docs, 65% off all Docs, private healthcare, dedicated culture team, and two paid volunteer days per year. We encourage applications from qualified candidates regardless of background, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, age, veteran status, or disability, as we strive to build a diverse and inclusive team that reflects our commitment to speaking authentically to our consumers.
