About the Role

R3vamp Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our pre-construction and project planning processes by providing accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems in various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that our bids are competitive, profitable, and aligned with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems in construction projects.
  • Review project specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for complex mechanical systems using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and competitive pricing.
  • Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and fire protection.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation techniques and relevant software such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
