Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as an Emergency Diesel Generator Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of emergency power systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting clients in contractual relationships with suppliers
- Reviewing supplier documents and coordinating reviews for diesel generator projects
- Producing comment sheets and discussing technical issues with suppliers
- Managing modifications, open points, and scope gaps on diesel generator contracts
- Supporting resolution of technical issues and non-conformities related to emergency power systems
- Writing surveillance plans and reports for diesel generator projects
- Managing interfaces with all disciplines involved in the contract, including system, electrical, and I&C teams
- Liaising with RD and client management teams to ensure manufacturing dates are met
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Extensive knowledge of moving mechanical equipment, such as rotating equipment (e.g., turbines, valves, pumps, and turbomachinery) or auxiliary systems (e.g., cooling systems, fuel injection systems)
- Knowledge of equipment interfaces
- Experience using change management and commercial systems
- Proven experience in heavy industrial projects, demonstrating the ability to manage complex engineering tasks
Desired Skills
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience working in the nuclear sector, although not essential
- Experience in managing transverse technical and contractual topics
