Job Title: QC Inspection

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at eTeam Workforce Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and will work closely with our Quality Control Supervisor to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections and cert reviews to ensure product quality
  • Provide shift cover for holidays, sickness, and other absences
  • Report directly to the Quality Control Supervisor and respond to quality-related issues
  • Liaise with functional groups for quality-related activities and problems
  • Interface with customers, third-party representatives, and certifying authorities as required
  • Provide technical support and guidance to work centers for training process inspectors
  • Write and revise quality control procedures and related forms
  • Assist in failure analysis and perform receiving inspection completion of pipe maps
  • Administer, sign off, and verify inspections, and verify dimensional and inspection reports for product conformance
  • Assure identification and traceability of product and materials at all stages of the manufacturing process
  • Write detailed reports as required, and generate non-compliance reports in accordance with applicable procedures
  • Randomly verify and audit inspection activities and laboratory testing to support shift
  • Perform calibration of measuring and test equipment, inspect and approve formed Flexlok and Carcass profile samples
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and provide technical support to work centers and projects on quality control requirements

Requirements:

  • ONC/HNC from an accredited college, university, or trade school, or strong experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills, flexible attitude, and proactive approach
  • Good common sense, ability to use own initiative, and perform under pressure to deadlines without compromising standards
  • First-class organisational skills, with particular emphasis on time management and attention to detail
  • Conscientious, hardworking, and willing to perform additional duties to support the Quality team

Technical Experience:

  • Working knowledge of ISOAPI Quality Systems, Quality practices and applications, and Continuous Improvement Tools
  • Ability to respond to common enquiries from management, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and detailed drawings
  • Competent on all process inspection activities, and requires working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Goods Receiving Inspection Systems and/or supplier certification is desirable
