About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Modeller to join our team at esure Group. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in leading the enhancement of our Financial Planning models in Anaplan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Commercial team to develop and improve the Financial Planning and Forecasting model, delivering a high-quality solution that meets business needs.
  2. Identify and prioritize forecasting enhancements to meet business and regulatory requirements.
  3. Work closely with Business teams to align financial models with business assumptions and drive strategic decision-making.
  4. Develop a deep understanding of the forecasting process, from data sources to P&L, balance sheet, and solvency outputs.
  5. Support the Finance Team to mitigate risks and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A qualified accounting background with experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  2. Extensive experience with Anaplan financial modelling, with Tableau and Databricks experience being a plus.
  3. Strong proficiency in data structuring and analysis.
