About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter and Maintenance Technician to join our fantastic repairs and maintenance team at Home Group.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality, right-first-time maintenance across our responsive and void properties.
  • Work on a variety of joinery tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and property refurbishments.
  • Utilize your multi-skilling abilities to improve first-time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers' homes.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in carpentry, joinery, or equivalent.
  • Experience in all aspects of joinery work within a maintenance environment, including glazing and working with UPVC windows and doors.
  • Experience in other building trade areas, such as multi-skilled handyman tasks.
  • A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgment.
  • A full current UK driving license is essential, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
