About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law professional to lead our Employment and HR Services department. As Head of Employment Law, you will be responsible for the proactive management of a varied caseload of employment matters and will undertake a leading role in the development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending tribunals and undertaking advocacy as appropriate
  • Delivering practical and tailored employment and HR advice
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
  • Developing a marketing strategy for the department and undertaking business development initiatives
  • Supervising the provision of employment and HR services for the department
  • Delivering training to the wider department, including briefings and updates

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with considerable PQE
  • Excellent and comprehensive employment law knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience of Business Development
  • Experience of working with Case Management Systems and ELA membership would be beneficial

What We Offer:

  • 25 holidays + Bank holidays. An additional 3 days after 5 years' service
