Culina Group, a leading logistics company, is seeking a skilled Hygiene Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our St Helens depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in warehouse areas.
- Work within the hygiene schedule to ensure automated areas are clear of debris at designated intervals.
- Provide cleaning support to other warehouse areas, including Loading Area, Picking Area, and Goods Inwards Area.
- Collaborate with customers and transport department to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Undertake additional duties in any warehouse area as requested by Team Leader and Shift Manager.
- Ensure clear communication between shifts regarding hygiene issues.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored correctly, and report missing or defective equipment to duty management.
- Adhere to risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times.
- Use Personal Protective Equipment as required and report defects to duty management.
- Regularly empty bins using designated skips and maintain waste storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with site rules and Food Hygiene standards.
- Support the business in meeting environmental obligations through recycling and waste management.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as requested by Team Leader or Shift Managers.
