Job Description

This is a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer position at AWE. The role involves carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art plant, processes, and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on commercial systems.
  • Maintain critical facilities infrastructure as part of a close-knit team delivering best-in-class service.
Requirements
  1. An engineering apprenticeship NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in a relevant discipline or NVQ/Diploma Level 2 plus industrial experience.
  2. A recognised relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC, or BTEC Level 3.

We are based in RG7 4PR between Reading and Basingstoke with free onsite parking. Salary is £25,250 - £40,000 depending on qualifications and level of experience. You will need to obtain the necessary security clearance for this role.
