Maintenance and Repair Roles

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance and Repair professional to join our team at Kirkley Lodge in Middlesbrough. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day minor maintenance and repairs to a high standard, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, decorating and minor repairs to ensure a high standard of maintenance.
  • Differentiate between minor repairs and when more specialist skills are required, referring to senior staff where necessary.
  • Ensure that equipment is used safely, with instructions and health and safety procedures being followed at all times.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in maintenance, gardening or a related field is desirable.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to undertake a wide range of activities, including manual handling and working at heights.
