We are seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our Clinical Development Quality team as a Global Clinical Development Quality Strategist. This is a key role in ensuring the quality of our clinical development processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a global quality strategy for clinical development, ensuring that all aspects of clinical trials are conducted in accordance with good clinical practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining quality standards and procedures for clinical development operations
- Liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into clinical development strategies and operations
- Providing guidance and training to staff on quality-related matters
- Maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners to stay up-to-date on quality requirements and best practices
This is a senior leadership role within the company, reporting directly to the Head of Clinical Development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as science, engineering, or quality management
- At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- A strong understanding of GCP, ICH-GCP, and other applicable regulatory requirements
