Remedy Education SENCO Job Opportunity

We are working with a lovely Primary school in Lambeth that seeks a qualified SENCO to join their team. The position will be on a temporary basis, with the possibility of moving to permanent. The role will be 3 days per week, with flexible days.

About the Role

As a qualified SENCO, you will oversee the strategic development of the SEN policy and work closely with a team of LSAs to best support the needs of students. The ideal candidate will have:

  • An understanding and experience of working with children with special needs
  • Management experience to develop and train a team of LSAs
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
  • An energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • A recognised full teaching qualification, such as QTS
  • A recognised SENCO qualification
  • An understanding of alternative and therapeutic interventions for student progression
  • A commitment to achieving the highest possible standards for all learners
