As a skilled electrical engineer, we invite you to apply for the position of WIFI Upgrades Engineer at Randstad Cpe London in Southampton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our rolling stock assets and ensuring the smooth operation of our depot.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mechanical and electrical work related to WIFI upgrades of the depot's rolling stock
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete repairs and upgrades
  • Test and troubleshoot upgraded systems, identifying and resolving faults
  • Detect and rectify installation faults at an intermediate level T3
  • Analyse and understand electrical schematics and software designs
  • Implement technical instructions and adhere to relevant guidelines
  • Communicate concerns regarding task-related safety and quality issues to site supervisors or production managers

The compensation package includes an estimated annual salary of £36,500 (£31,250 base salary + £5,250 benefits), based on industry standards for similar positions in the UK. This is a fixed-term contract lasting 6 months with potential for extension, contingent upon performance and business needs.
