Research Laboratory Technician - Part Time
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic part-time Research Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Cambridge Neurobiomarker Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:- Process blood samples, including serum, plasma, and peripheral mononuclear cells.
- Maintain department health and safety records.
- Undertake staff training and ensure all lab users comply with regulations.
- Promote Good Laboratory Practice and liaise with H&S and Biological Safety officers.
- Participate in the T-scan on-call rota for the department's freezers.
- Monitor lab budgets and expenditure for the work package.
- Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 48 months in the first instance.
- Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
- This appointment also requires a Research Passport application.
