Exciting Opportunity for a Development Engineer Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Development Engineer Assistant to join our team at HBF Recruitment Ltd. As a Development Engineer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our development team in delivering high-quality housing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day engineering matters within the Technical Department.
  • Coordinate and administer topographical surveys, geotechnical/geo-environmental surveys, CCTV drainage surveys, utility surveys, and structural surveys.
  • Provide general engineering support to the Technical Managers, and the Land, Commercial, Sales, and Customer Care departments.
  • Assist in the appointment of external civil engineering and structural engineering consultants, and the coordination and checking of the consultants' designs.
  • Coordinate and administer specialist foundation designs and quotations.
  • Coordinate and administer S38 and S278 highway works Agreements, S104 and S102 sewer adoption Agreements, and S106 sewer connections applications.
  • Participate in pre-contract, pre-start, and project progress meetings.
  • Liaise with Highway Engineers, Water Authority Engineers, and Local Authority officers.
  • Provide assistance in facilitating the ultimate and timely adoption of Road and Sewers.
  • Attend meetings and action remedial works and Final Surfacing with sub-Contractors.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
