About the Role:
Aspire People are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in primary schools in Market Harborough and surrounding areas. If you're passionate about supporting children's learning and development, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist class teachers in supporting the learning and development of pupils.
* Deliver engaging lessons, supporting individuals or small groups.
* Provide one-on-one support for pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN (Special Educational Needs).
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour support where necessary.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children (experience in an educational setting is desirable).
* A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to dealing with young children.
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from teaching staff.
* Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and staff alike.
* Flexible and proactive attitude.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with supporting children with SEN.
* Relevant qualification in child development or teaching support.
