We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at Defence, a leading provider of food and support services. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service. A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification in catering or a related field is essential. You will have experience supervising a team and leading by example, with a proven track record of delivering high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure we consistently meet our high standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implementing initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
  • Listening to customer feedback and acting promptly to address any concerns or suggestions.
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image by adhering to our values and standards.
  • Monitoring inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked and maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
