Fabric Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our team at BJF Group. As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out fabric maintenance and repair tasks on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out fabric maintenance and repair tasks on construction projects, including masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery.
• Respond to reactive calls and scope quotes for repair where first fix is not possible.
• Undertake small to large fabric repairs and upgrades to existing buildings.
• Cover all aspects of fabric maintenance and repair, including roof repairs and kitchen fitting.
• Scope task and material requirements to achieve the required results.
• Ensure that the site is kept in good decorative order internally and externally.
• Work within all Health and Safety criteria and processes relevant to work activities.
• Client facing, maintaining high standards of customer care.
• Be flexible and undertake other reasonable duties to accommodate operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works/tasks completed within KPI's.
• Experience in domestic, commercial, or industrial fabric engineering.
• A proactive, positive, solution-based attitude.
• Repairs following a Periodic Electrical Installation Condition Report.
