Consultant Gastroenterologist

About the Position

We are recruiting a Senior Consultant in Digestive Health to join our team at NHS Grampian. As a key member of our department, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and participate in the development of our services.

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is the main teaching hospital for the North of Scotland, offering an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and professionals.

Our department provides a comprehensive range of secondary and tertiary luminal gastroenterology services, including advanced IBD, endoscopy, Hepatology, and nutrition services. We also have an active research program working jointly with The University of Aberdeen, ensuring that our team stays at the forefront of medical knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you should have higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry on the GMC Specialist Register. Alternatively, we consider applications from doctors with suitable specialist training and experience for a Locum Consultant post (up to 12 months).
