We are seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our client in the heart of Glasgow. With a strong background in infrastructure project delivery, you will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering projects to budget and programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of project management and contract administration through the project life cycle
  • Ensuring a common understanding of requirements and scope, programme, costs, constraints, risk, and interfaces across the team
  • Leading the project team – building, motivating, maintaining, coaching, guiding, and developing the team
  • Communicating, liaising, and engaging with the client on a project-by-project basis
  • Delivering governance arrangements for projects within corporate and business policies, directives, guidance, and procedures to ensure a robust outcome
  • Mentoring and developing Assistant Project Managers and other team members as required
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have a Project Management/Engineering/Building Surveying/Architectural background with design management, project management, and contract administration experience
  • APM PMQ (or equivalent) recognised level of competence in Project Management – desirable
  • Understanding and experience in deploying various forms of construction contract, particularly NEC3 or 4 and/or bespoke forms of contract
  • Experience of projects or assisting the management of projects from inception to completion in accordance with sector standards for project design lifecycle and maturity
  • Understanding of BIM
  • Demonstrates a proactive and flexible working attitude, adaptable and responds positively to challenges
  • Current driving licence
