Executive Pastry Chef

Compass Group UK & Ireland seeks an Executive Pastry Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality food products to our customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for food who can inspire and motivate our team to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working as a chef/baker and hold relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1. 706/2 or equivalent.

Job Description:

• Promote a safety culture across the unit, ensuring adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork on a continual basis to ensure full compliance.
• Evaluate the condition of equipment and machinery to guarantee safe working order, reporting faults or repairs using proper procedures as soon as possible.
• Ensure that all meals are provided to required quality standards at specified times, aiming for consistent customer experience and preventing service failures or penalties.
• Develop and continually improve client and customer relationships through proactive engagement.

Requirements:

• Proven track record working as a Chef / Baker.
• Demonstrated passion for food.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Motivation to deliver consistently high standards of food and service quality.
• Certifications including BOSIET/FOET, MIST, OGUK, and Food Handlers Medical.
• Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1. 706/2 or equivalent.
