Healthcare Support Worker

About the Role:
Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Runcorn. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing complex clinical care services to our service users in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to the clinical care requirements of our service users, including personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration.
- Assist service users in enjoying activities they love, such as community outings, shopping trips, and visits to the garden centre.
- Support with evening routines and remain alert and responsive to care needs throughout the night.
Requirements:
- 3 months previous care experience.
- Personal Care, Moving and Handling, and Medication Administration skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19.
Desirable Skills:
- Spinal Injury Care.
- Knowledge of Motor Neurones Disease.
- Non-Invasive Ventilation.
- Nebuliser Care.
- Cough Assist.
- Oral Suction.
- Catheter Care.
Working Hours:
- Full Time & Part Time Days – 7am - 7pm / 8am – 8pm.
- Full Time & Part Time Nights – 7am – 7pm.
