About the Role:

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Runcorn. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing complex clinical care services to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to the clinical care requirements of our service users, including personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration.
  • Assist service users in enjoying activities they love, such as community outings, shopping trips, and visits to the garden centre.
  • Support with evening routines and remain alert and responsive to care needs throughout the night.

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience.
  • Personal Care, Moving and Handling, and Medication Administration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19.

Desirable Skills:

  • Spinal Injury Care.
  • Knowledge of Motor Neurones Disease.
  • Non-Invasive Ventilation.
  • Nebuliser Care.
  • Cough Assist.
  • Oral Suction.
  • Catheter Care.

Working Hours:

  • Full Time & Part Time Days – 7am - 7pm / 8am – 8pm.
  • Full Time & Part Time Nights – 7am – 7pm.
