About the Opportunity:

Care New England Health System is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team.

Job Overview:

The Surgical Technologist will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality patient care. This includes preparing and maintaining aseptic technique, handling instrumentation, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain skills and competencies required of the Surgical Technologist position.
  • Maintain Surgical Technologist Certification.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of service lines including use of specialized equipment.
  • Act as Primary Preceptor for the scrub role.
  • Comply with customer service requirements.
  • Actively participate in QI programs.
  • Respond to emergency situations under the direction of a RN.
  • Perform all other job related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain and gather supplies to perform job.
  • Maintain BLS.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a graduation of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, Surgical Technologist Certification, and BLS Certification. A strong commitment to customer service and teamwork is essential.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available.
