Position Description
We're seeking a highly skilled Statistical Programmer to join our team in Manchester. As a Statistical Programmer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing statistical studies, analyzing data, and generating reports. You'll work closely with our product development teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coding SAS programs for data processing, statistical analysis, and report generation
- Summarizing results and providing input into study reports
- Collaborating with project and scientific staff on data processing, analysis, and reporting requirements
- Contributing to the development of data management, analysis, and reporting systems through the coding and validation of standard SAS and SAS Macro programs
Requirements
- Experience programming in SAS or other statistical packages (e.g., R) for scientific and/or clinical research
- Educated to degree level (BSc/MSc), ideally in Statistics or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
- Ability to work successfully in a team, liaising with colleagues across different departments and countries to understand requirements and translate them into achievable actions
- Ability to innovate, apply new skills and knowledge, and take initiative
