**UHY Hacker Young Group** is recruiting an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing team in Newport. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with our clients, providing high-quality audit services and technical expertise.

Job Description
  • This position involves leading fieldwork teams on larger or higher-risk audit clients, ensuring that audits are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing audit working papers, preparing draft accounts, and discussing potential audit journals with clients.
  • Your daily duties will include identifying key audit risks, managing and assisting the audit team on-site, and clearing review points until the audit report is signed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification audit experience, preferably in a senior role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical points to junior members of the team.
  • Proficient user of Pro Audit (auto automation) and CCH Accounts Production.
  • Experience in group audits and overseeing juniors on audits is highly desirable.

**Benefits:**

  • A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 30 days' holiday (including bank holidays), plus life assurance (2x salary) and pension scheme arrangements.
  • Flexibility in office hours and remote working options for non-client site work.
