The Recruitment Co is seeking a highly skilled Senior Print Operative to join our client in a leading print company. This is a direct permanent role with our client, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Print, collate, and fulfill all post to ensure all service level agreements are met.
  • Provide administrative support to the Printing Team Supervisor as required and cover during absences.
  • Assist the Printing Team Supervisor and Quality and Training Administrator in the training of new and improving staff and to "buddy" new and improving staff as required.

Job Duties:

  • Report any breakdowns, errors, or issues to the Print Team Supervisor as soon as they occur.
  • Ensure smooth running of all print equipment, assisting in maintenance, fixes (including paper jams and toner replacement) and cleaning as appropriate.
  • Contact print suppliers to request new supplies or to register breakdowns as appropriate.
  • Assist in other areas of the operations department as required.
  • Act as cover for the Print Team Supervisor during holidays and absence as required.

Requirements:

  • Full training provided, experience or knowledge of the print business is desired but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
