Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled Financial Director to join their team in the Blackwood area. This pivotal role involves overseeing the day-to-day finance management of the group, working closely with the Management Accountant, and preparing monthly accounting reports.

The ideal candidate will have excellent financial management skills, experience in managing relationships with company funders and banking arrangements, and a strong understanding of payroll management and pension schemes.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Managing the finance function, including ledger and bookkeeping management, VAT reconciliation, bank reconciliation, credit control management, and invoice finance facility management.
  2. Working with the Management Accountant to prepare full P&L and Balance Sheet reports, asset earnings reports, accruals and prepayments schedules, and transport recovery information.
  3. Providing financial guidance and recommendations to improve processes, facilities, and ways of working for the benefit of the business.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including NEST Pension Scheme, 23 days' holiday per year, discretionary company bonus scheme, and training and development allowance.
