About the Role

Fleet Tutors is seeking a skilled Maths Tutor to provide high-quality educational support to learners in need. As a Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective maths tuition to learners of various ages and abilities.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs and styles.
  • Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods as needed.
  • Collaborate with learners' guardians and teachers to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in teaching or tutoring maths, preferably in a one-to-one or small group setting.
  • Ability to work with learners who have special educational needs, social, emotional, and mental health needs, and those who have experienced childhood trauma.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
