We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team in Worcestershire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals and groups to improve their functioning and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Lead practice development and contribute to the delivery of our services
- Facilitate group interventions and work with individuals to improve their functioning
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of OT services
- Supervise junior staff and provide leadership and guidance
- Develop and implement interventions using evidence-based and client-centred principles
- Significant post-registration experience in mental health, including experience within the specialty
- Documented evidence of continuing professional development
- Ability to work autonomously and set own priorities
- Supervisory and appraisal skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions relevant to the client group
