About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Educational Support Worker to join our team at a small Trafford-based primary school. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other special educational needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to provide tailored support to students in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience as an educator, working with pupils from Reception-age to Year 6.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ASD and other special educational needs. A strong understanding of safeguarding practices and the ability to support colleagues are essential for this role.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with children with ASD and other special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding practices and the ability to support colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive daily rate: £84+ per day through PAYE.
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm.
  • Opportunity to work with multiple Primary year groups.
  • ASAP start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
