About the Role
As a Visitor Experience Officer at the National Trust, you will play a pivotal role in crafting unforgettable experiences for our visitors. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional service, inspiring our guests to engage deeply with the history and stories of our sites.
Within our Regency era-focused team, you will work closely with colleagues to devise and deliver events, activities, and interpretive displays that bring the past to life. Your passion for history and ability to convey complex ideas in an engaging manner will be essential in creating an immersive experience for our visitors.
You will be responsible for managing volunteers, ensuring high standards of presentation, and contributing to the development of social media content and website updates. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team will be crucial in this role.
What We're Looking For
- Able to work effectively in a team environment with multiple deadlines and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and web platforms
- Experience in producing interpretive materials and marketing or promotional content
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures
