About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic team at our GP Practice in Wales. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our GPs and practice nurses in the management of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical duties such as phlebotomy, blood pressure checks, ECGs, and vaccinations, under the supervision of our clinical team.
  • Support patients in adopting healthy lifestyles and promoting self-care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues, using sensitive communication styles and alternative methods as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and improve patient care.
  • Participate in stock control and ordering, ensuring clinical rooms are well-stocked and organized.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a nursing team, preferably in primary care.
  • GCSE Grade 1 to C in English and Maths.
  • Desirable: Qualified in Phlebotomy and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
