About the Role

Vestiaire Collective is seeking a Quality Controller to ensure the quality control of all received products into our workshop, guaranteeing compliance with sales announcements and facilitating reliable transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a product rack and process items according to FIFO and area rules.
  • Scan product IDs and review data sheets for accuracy.
  • Conduct quality control checks in accordance with VC specifications, ensuring product data sheet compliance.
  • Restore products as needed to facilitate transactions (cleaning, stitching, etc.).
  • Document product data sheet comments to ensure reliable transactions and minimize returns.
  • Identify and address potential transaction blockers, making informed decisions for Vestiaire Collective, sellers, and buyers.
  • Act as a trusted intermediary between buyers and sellers in case of anomalies.
  • Seal items after each check to verify passage through our workshop.
  • Store controlled racks according to FIFO and area rules.
  • Alert line managers in case of doubts or malfunctions.
  • Manage inventory for assigned areas.
  • Collaborate with various VC services as required (SRM, logistics, Concierge, etc.).
Requirements
  • Strong experience in fashion items quality control, inspection, refurbishment, and/or repairs.
  • Passion for the fashion industry, luxury brands, and vintage items.
  • Curiosity, methodical approach, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of luxury fashion.
  • Ability to share knowledge and expertise, with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
  • Effective communication skills, with a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • Customer-centric and solution-oriented approach.
  • Outstanding work ethic and ability to meet daily quotas and goals.
