Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team as a Senior HSE Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSE and a passion for delivering excellence in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE strategies and action plans to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and industry HSE standards
  • Oversee all audits and inspections to maintain accreditations and certifications
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance
  • Lead and manage the HSE team to achieve objectives
  • Review and update HSE policies and procedures regularly

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications in HSE - CMIOSH, Tech IOSH or similar
  • Experience in the construction world or manufacturing building products
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant legal and industry HSE standards
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE strategies
  • Exceptional communication and training skills
