About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone in Bentley Heath, West Midlands. As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later years with dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality individual care to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Assist with domestic duties, including apartment cleans and laundry
  • Support residents with daily tasks, such as booking appointments and arranging transport
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues
About You

We are looking for a warm and friendly individual with a passion for delivering exceptional care. Ideally, you will have some experience in a care or support environment, although we are open to considering candidates with relevant qualifications and a willingness to learn.

Key Requirements:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
