Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PM Shift Supervisor to join our team at our Rugby Hub. As a PM Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the warehouse during the evening shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Warehouse Operatives: You will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives during the PM shift, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the company's targets.
- Manage Operations: You will be responsible for managing the operations of the warehouse during the PM shift, including throughputs, parcel presentation, productivity levels, and achievement of forecasted CPU against budgeted targets.
- Support Process Manager: You will work closely with the Process Manager to ensure that all sortation processes are running smoothly and efficiently, and that quality standards are met.
- Coaching and Development: You will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills of the warehouse operatives, including regular 121's, performance reviews, and team meetings.
- Reporting and Documentation: You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date reporting documentation, including manifests and other required reports.
- Health and Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Experience: You will have experience of working in a logistics or distribution environment, ideally with experience of managing a team of operatives.
- Skills: You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work at pace to challenging targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: You will have a good understanding of logistics and distribution processes, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
