About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, efficiency and alignment of our IT infrastructure with business needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
- Installation and Configuration: Lead the installation and configuration of hardware, software and network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT systems, hardware, software and networks.
- Security: Monitor security measures to protect the organisation's data, networks and systems.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of IT systems, hardware, software and networks.
- Documentation: Document system configurations, procedures and processes for IT staff and end-users.
- Training: Provide inductions and follow-up training and support to end-users on IT systems, hardware, software and security.
- Budget and Reporting: Provide input to the monthly reports and the annual IT budget.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in Windows Server, Azure, O365, SharePoint, Intune, Active Directory Group Policy, VMWare configuration and administration, advanced network and firewall configuration (VLANs, AP, SSL, and IPSEC), antivirus and security technologies, Veeam backup, HP SAN. A formal Microsoft qualification and experience in IT help desk operations are required.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is approximately £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including casual dress, company events, company pension, cycle to work scheme, employee discount, free parking, health & wellbeing programme, life insurance and store discount.
Working Hours and Location
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday. The role is based in person at Global ATS LTD.
